Winter

During winter, Sälen is one of the largest alpine ski areas in Northern Europe with perfect snow conditions. In Sälen there are more than one hundred ski lifts and pistes.

Tandådalen-Hundfjället is the premier ski area of Sälen with 45 lifts and 60 pistes. Excellent cross country skiing offering beautiful views in well prepared tracks.

There are numerous additional winter activities to enjoy in Tandådalen. Take a mountain trip with a dog sled, winter fishing, or rent and drive your own snowmobile into the wilderness.
